Remote Data Logging
Pico has a wide range of products suitable for remote data acquisition. Examples of customer applications include:

New this month is an application note shows how to connect our serial port data acquisition products to any Ethernet TCP/IP LAN or WAN network.
New Test Leads, Clips and Probes for Automotive Use
Pico has just released several new products for automotive testing.
The TA000 test lead is custom made for automotive use with the ADC-212 oscilloscope. Its length (3 metres / approx 10 ft) allows the oscilloscope to be placed on the work bench away from the car being tested / repaired. Also new is a wide range of probes, clips and gators that plug into the 4mm connectors at the end of the cable.
Enigma — The Movie
Over the last few weeks we have noticed a huge increase in the number of people visiting our web pages about Colossus (the worlds first computer) and the WW2 code breaking centre at Bletchley Park.
We suspect this interest is being driven by publicity for the new film ‘Enigma’ (starring Kate Winslet and financed by Mick Jagger) which is based on events at Bletchley Park.

DrDAQ Sensors
Over the next couple of years we plan to release several new external sensors for DrDAQ and would welcome your feedback as to which would be the most useful.
We have already had requests for the following sensors for DrDAQ:
- air pressure
- light sensor (lux)
- redox
- oxygen in air
- dissolved oxygen
- airflow
- CO2 gas
- conductivity
- current
- radiation
- pulse / heart rate
- acceleration
- light gate
- ultrasonic distance
- magnetic field
If you own (or are about to buy) a DrDAQ data logger, please look through the list above and choose the three sensors that would be most useful to you (feel free to include sensors that are not on the above list).
Please then send a e-mail to tech@picotech.com with the subject 'DrDAQ sensors' and in the body of the e-mail list the three sensors that you would find most useful. Thank you for your help.
