PicoScope 7 Software
Available on Windows, Mac and Linux
July 2001 is an important milestone for Pico Technology: it marks both our tenth anniversary and another year of record growth and sales.
In July 1991, a newly formed Pico Technology launched its first product, the ADC-10, which met with immediate success. Ten years on, we now have a range of over fifty products and worldwide sales of over 100,000 units.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank all our customers over the last ten years who have made this success possible.
We are pleased to announce the launch of a new range of low cost load cells. Starting at under GBP 50 (approx 70 USD), they are ideal for industrial and educational applications.
The load cells are compatible with our CM015 signal conditioner, so interfacing to data loggers and oscilloscopes is very easy.
Our library of science experiments for data loggers and oscilloscopes continues to grow. New experiments this month include:
Acoustic standing waves (using DrDAQ)
Light intensity vs distance (using DrDAQ)
See these and many other interesting and educational experiments at:

Prior to the launch of a conductivity sensor for the DrDAQ, we are looking for a few customers who are interested in having a free conductivity sensor in return for carrying out and writing up a science experiment using the sensor.
If you are already own a DrDAQ and would be interested in this offer, please e-mail us at tech@picotech.com with brief details of your experiment idea.
Using Internet Protocol (IP) Networking, you can take measurements (eg temperature) on one computer and record the data on another computer. As long as the computers are linked by an IP network, they do not need to be in the same building or even the same country.
IP networking is built into both PicoLog and EnviroMon software, making for a huge range of possible configurations. From your desk, you could monitor temperature, humidity, light levels and mains power consumption from data loggers connected to PCs anywhere on your network. We have even been told that one headmaster of a school has a DrDAQ data logger in each classroom so he can see which room produces the most noise!
