Review: PicoScope 2204A

The PicoScope 2204A is our lowest-priced oscilloscope, with 10 MHz bandwidth and 8 kS capture memory, but as this review on the Element 14 Community pages shows, it well and truly punches above its weight.

 

PicoScope 6 Tech Tip: spectrum mask limit testing

You may have used PicoScope's mask limit testing feature to detect out-of-specification waveforms. Did you know that you can also use masks in spectrum mode? This powerful technique can alert you to problems such as intermittent bursts of noise, or frequency drift in an oscillator.

Frequency-domain masks are just as easy to use as time-domain masks. Just capture a known good waveform, go to Tools > Masks > Add Mask and click Generate. PicoScope will then highlight any new waveforms that fall outside the mask.
