Our PicoTech channel on youtube is the home of a large collection of training videos on a variety of oscilloscope–related subjects. There are now over 60 videos on new features in the PicoScope software, persistence display mode, spectrum analysis, serial decoding, advanced triggering, the PicoScope 9000 Series sampling scopes, and many more subjects.
We have recently added a set of videos on the use of the PicoScope 4262 Very–High–Resolution Oscilloscope for audio signal analysis. For lower–precision applications, the procedures used in these videos can be used with any PicoScope oscilloscope.

PicoScope math channels and sample count
Q. When I’m using math channels in PicoScope, the number of samples seems to be limited to 2 million. Is there any way around this?
A. For performance reasons, the capture size is limited to 2 M samples when math channels are in use. However, you can capture as many samples as you like with math channels switched off, then enable your desired math channels and the calculation will be done on the stored data.
Trigger timestamps
Q. How can I know the triggered time of a channel in PicoScope?
A. Right–click on the PicoScope display and select “View Properties”. This will show the Properties list, which includes the date and time, to the nearest second, of the capture showing on the screen.
