PicoScope 7 Software
Available on Windows, Mac and Linux
The PicoScope 9300 Series of sampling oscilloscopes is ideal for measuring high-speed signals. Pico is proud to introduce three new models to the range, providing an affordable entry to RF measurement.
The PicoScope 9301-15, 9302-15 and 9311-15 have the following key features:
Choose from standard, 11.3 Gb/s clock recovery and 60 ps TDR/TDT models. All three use the PicoSample 3 software, just like the rest of the PicoScope 9300 Series.
We've also just launched a new 25 GHz sampling oscilloscope, the PicoScope 9302-25. This 2-channel model adds 11.3 Gb/s clock recovery to our range of 25 GHz oscilloscopes.
RF specialist Mark Ashcroft is back again this month, with a video focusing on the hardware features and performance of the PicoVNA 106, our full-function USB vector network analyzer.
The latest PicoScope 6 beta software is now available to download from our website.
The last beta introduced our new DeepMeasure™ feature. This release adds overlays to highlight the cycle number, cycle boundaries and the current focused cycle in the graph. There are also four new measurements.
Every year, the EDN Network likes to recognize what it sees as the most important products of the year. We're pleased to announce that this year, EDN has awarded DeepMeasure a place in the Tools & Development section of its Hot 100 Products of 2017.
The Zero all ranges button in PicoScope's Channel Options window allows you to eliminate offset errors from your scope inputs. When you click the button, PicoScope instructs you to short-circuit the channel inputs. What does this mean when your oscilloscope is differential like the PicoScope 4444?
The answer is that, with a differential scope, you only need to connect the positive and negative inputs together. There is no need to connect either of them to ground, as the oscilloscope is insensitive to common-mode (ground-referenced) signals.
What torque values should I use for the RF connectors?
Our recommendation is 1 Nm for stainless steel connectors of type N, SMA or PC3.5 as supplied by us. We offer two torque wrench accessories with this setting. For further details of this and other PicoVNA-related issues, please see our PicoVNA Frequently Asked Questions.
