Video: MATLAB example applications for the PicoVNA 106

Pico Technology’s RF business development manager, Mark Ashcroft, demonstrates two MATLAB applications written for the PicoVNA 106. The first pulls in the S-parameters and displays them at the full speed available in the PicoVNA 2 software. The second provides a simple go/no-go test for a DUT.

Faster VNA

The PicoVNA 106 6 GHz vector network analyzer is now even faster. Thanks to a recent software update, the instrument can now measure over 5500 dual-port S parameters per second. In practical terms, this leads to the following upgraded capabilities:

  • All four S-parameters at every frequency point in just 182 μs
  • A 201-point dual-port .s2p Touchstone file in less than 37 ms
