New Type T thermocouples

SE051 to SE055 Type T thermocouples

In addition to our Type K thermocouples, we now sell a comprehensive range of Type T thermocouples. These have a narrower temperature range (–75 to +260 °C) but guaranteed Class 1 accuracy (±0.5 °C below +125 °C, ±0.4% above), so are a superior replacement in many applications.

The 13 new thermocouples are available in a variety of lead lengths, probe styles and insulation types, and are compatible with our USB TC-08 temperature data logger as well as all other Type T thermocouple measuring instruments. Prices start from only US$10 / €9 / £7.

PicoScope 6 Tech Tip: unipolar ranges

PicoScope 6 unipolar and bipolar traces

PicoScope's standard input ranges are bipolar; for example, ±1 V. If your signal range is unipolar (positive-only or negative-only), it will use only the top or bottom half of the scope view.

There are several ways to make the signal fill the scope view:

  • Use analog offset, if your PicoScope has the feature. This makes the best use of your scope's vertical resolution.
  • Apply scaling and offset, as explained in How can I display a unipolar voltage range? in PicoScope 6 Frequently Asked Questions.
  • Create a custom probe, as explained in our Custom Probes technical note.
