Hello
I recently bought a Picoscope 3204 to use it for the acquisition of low frequency (kHz) signals.
I use it in the normal configuration:
sensor ->picoscope ->USB cable-> laptop and it works very well.
What I would like to do is to acquire the data remotely.
My question is: Can I do this by using the picoscope in the following configuration:
Sensor-> Picoscope-> USB+USB to Ethernet adaptor -> Wireless access point (bridge) -> Wireless Router > Laptop
Has anybody done that before? Could this configuration be possible? If not, do you have other sugestions?
Thank you in advance for your help.
Thank you for your fast answer.
I understand that this network hub needs a normal wireless router conected to it through ethernet in order to make the data acquisition wireless.
I've tried to access the PS 3204 through the wireless HomeBase but it seams it doesn't work.
The homebase reveals other usb devices like a memory stick for example, but cannot reveal the PS 3204.
One question: In the pdf that you suggested, the osciloscope is being conected to the network hub and to the network via ethernet cable. Was this done also using a wireless access point instead of the ethernet cable?
Thanks.
Regards,
Florin

The unit appears like it *should* work. I haven't used that particular unit however so can't guarantee anything...
I also have a 3204B product (bought in Dec.2013) and I am researching if I can use it with one of the wireless USB hubs.
The link to Belkin product in previous reply is not active anymore.
I suspect it was reffering to the F5U303 or F5U301 Belkin 4 Port USB 2.0 Cable-Free Wireless Hub.
Is there any newer info available about using above or other similar devices (or other kind of wireless devices) to replace the USB cable?
