2204a won't connect
2204a won't connect
New user here. So far I've it used my 2204A in automotive application to view MAF and cam reference. Today, chasing random misfire, I tested for suspect ground between engine and battery, channel B red on Alt bracket, black on batt neg. Channel A was Ign coil neg to engine ground using HT 20:1
I turned off channel A as I saw noise/hash on B and wanted to investigate further. Approx 880mV spikes on B with aforementioned hash. Double-check ground on B @ battery, come back to screen and see graph is gone, have "Connect Device" window on PicoScope 7 window.
Unplugged 2204A and reconnect, I get brief "searching Picoscope 2000" then disappears. Red LED on 2204 is lit, no sound. Trying to recall all my motions here, doubting myself and thinking somehow it's my fault, but trying to understand why.
Was my Pico experience short lived? Call coroner?
Windows 10 if it matters.
