Suitable VNA for Signal Integrity

We are looking for a VNA for Digital Design, Signal Integrity studies, no RF. The idea is to characterize S parameters of components (ussually connectors) that are converted then to Time Domain for eye-diagram, BERT, ringing, etc.
I wonder if such a VNA must start from almost DC?. Or is it 300kHz low enough? to get suitable S parameters that can be then post processed to assure causality, passivity, and good enough to get fine details in pulse/step response.

I will appreciate your help on this before proceeding to purchase.
