Re: Feature request: Trigger on I2C address & data

GoodDay I certainly like the latest PicoScope® T&M - PC oscilloscope software version: 7.0.116.13984. It took me some time to transition from version 6, but I certainly like the clean UI of version 7 better now. Please can I re-iterate to my feature request, now that Version 7 is a stable release . ...

Re: Feature request: Trigger on I2C address & data

Good Evening Gerry,

I trust this finds you and your colleagues well.

As 18 months have passed us by since the last update, is there any chance that you'd re-visit this feature request, please?
I would still say that this would add some good value to your oscilloscope product(s).

Thank you,

JoeD

Re: Missing Feature - Trace Labels

Please allow me to support mike603's request - it would be a great improvement. It would make documenting so much easier...

Pretty, please, dear picoscope developers. Add user-defined labels for the Analog channels

Cheers,

Re: How to genereate PWM by using AWG for Picoscope 2208B

Good Evening Gerry, thanks - we are in agreement that the method I have explained only provides "a basic arbitrary PWM signal". And you are correct that the AWG does not provide any means of a real-time-controlled PWM signal, of course. Now, as that might be a very useful feature to have - please ca...

Re: Feature request: Trigger on I2C address & data

Good Evening,

I thought I'd ask if the new feature of triggering on specific I2C address & data is still planned for future releases?

Thanks for a brief update.

Cheers,

Re: How to genereate PWM by using AWG for Picoscope 2208B

Good Day, while I cannot comment on the picoscope model 2208B, I can confirm that an arbitrary PWM signal can be generated using the PicoScope - PC Oscilloscope software version 6.14.23.5207 and a PicoScope Model 3203D MSO. At least a basic arbitrary PWM signal can be generated as follows: Configure...

Re: Why does the AWG signal drop when I connect the ground lead to 0V in an RC circuit?

Good Day confused.com, my guess is that you want to learn more about the typical characteristics of capacitor charging/discharging, and the picoscope's AWG and oscilloscope are excellent tools for studying these basics. Just change the resistor in your simple circuit to 10k Ohm, go over the simple m...

Re: Picoscope probes picking up a very noticeable 50 Hz signal

Ciao Francesco, The noise you are seeing is not a fault of your picoscope device. Your breadboard circuit shows some long wiring, which forms large loops and the so-called "hum" you are seeing on your picoscope are voltages induced by the 50 Hz power line present in your area. My recommendation to y...

Good Evening Gerry, I suppose you chaps are busy with the new release you have mentioned and with the Embedded World event in Nuremberg, Germany these days. However, I just wanted to check in to confirm my interest in the mentioned trigger on I2C address and data. I trust other users/potential custo...

Re: Feature request: Trigger on I2C address & data

Good Afternoon Gerry, I appreciate your prompt and detailed reply - thank you. Ok, I surely understand you have other priorities at this point. Yes, I would suggest to add the mentioned trigger enhancement to the future releases of Picoscope software. I have referred to the Picoscope user's guide, a...

Feature request: Trigger on I2C address & data

Good Morning, I am looking into purchasing the picoscope 320xD or 340xD. I have read the data sheet specifications and user manuals and I have to say I am pretty impressed by its performance, feature set and feedback from other users. I am particularly interested in the serial bus decoder. However, ...
