Hi I have been using the new R6.0.5 with our new 5204 picoscope and one thing I really is missing compared to the old version i the possibillity to keep the voltage steady and zoom in time.
For many applications the new zoom tool in PicoScope 6 is a big step forward from PicoScope 5 - you just draw a box around the area to zoom in.
As you say however the time it does not work as well is when you only want to zoom in one axis or the other. There will be more zoom tools in future releases of PicoScope to address this, but we do not have a release date yet.
In the mean time you can zoom just in the time axis by using the existing tool and drawing a tall but narrow box.
The latest release of our software , 6.0.10. now has an added zooming feature. You can find this on the bottom left hand side of the screen for channel A, and on the bottom right hand side of the screen for channel B (when activated). If you click on the x1.0 you can see the scale and offset. Have a play around and see what you think.
Hi - I have done an observation that may be related to the issue reported by Philip Barnett regarding pixel replication when zooming.
In my current setup 20 ms/div 2,00MS I get the same problem tracing a 400KHz I2C bus, but only when then scope is in capture mode if I stop capturing and make box zoom at the same trace the zooming works as intended.
