I am trying to run PicoLog 5.22.6 with a TC08 serial datalogger, but every time I try to select the input channel I get the error message "Driver 'TC0832.dll' not found". I have tried running it as Administrator, installing using the XP compatability mode and several other things, but nothing seems to work. My system is a Windows 7 Pro 64b system and I am using the native COM port, not a USB adapter. Any suggestions?
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I have .dll version 2.7. The on-board COM is COM1 and the USB COM is COM5. I checked the voltage on the RTS and DTR lines and both are approximately -11V. I compared this to my old XP system and it is the same until the TC0832.dll driver is loaded then RTS changes to +11V. So it would seem that the driver needs to load to enable the proper voltage levels and since the driver will not load improper voltage can be ruled out. Is there any history of any issues running PicoLog in Windows 7 Pro 64b?
