Spent a career of 30yrs in Broadcast, from Radio and now TV (which is fast become more an Internet entity). Away from work i want to design and develop, restore and repair anything from old tube (valve) equipment to industrial controller peripheral or even helping someone out with their Maker project.
My old bashed around and unloved (until i gave it a home) 'Tek 2246A analogue 'scope is great for looking at that HiFi amplifier but i really do need something more capable to see the real dynamics of a circuit especially in the digital domain where i need to decode what's happening (been happening) and should happen....

I didn't want to make this a pure marketing exercise, I just wanted to make sure you are aware of some of the features that can elude new customers, so those are just some of the reasons why it's worth your while investigating what in our range would be best for your requirements, now we just need to establish more clearly, exactly what those requirements are.
It sounds like you are looking for a scope optimised for working with audio video radio, as well as industrial controls. Where I'm not sure of what you want is when you mention 'looking at what's happening in the Digital Domain' which could be anything form basic logic state analysis, through Serial Decoding, to transaction analysis through bus snooping, etc. So what I can tell you is that we have ideally suited PicoScopes (e.g. low noise high resolution for audio), but what I need to ask from you is, could you tell us a bit more about exactly what Digital domain analysis you need to do (what are you likely to be analyzing), and what bit rates are likely to be involved.
