DrDaq and Logitron Insight

We have had this problem for years wihout resolution and I have now been tasked with it again: Logitron Insight works fine with our DrDaq data loggers on our ancient Windows 98 laptops however I cannot get it working on our RM CC3 network stations running XP, even if I do a local manual install. Basically the Pico software works fine so it isn't a hardware issue, however Insight just says 'check the connection' when you tell it that a DrDaq is connected to LPT1. Anyone ideas?

Hi all I can say is that some of the laptops don't have enough voltage for the parallel ports. What I can say is that you can get a Parallel to usb adapter which will allow you to use the device with your USB port
