Pico 2000A Timing and sampling settings

Post by Joelvvdn »

Hello I need to measure ripple for a 12V adapter if I use Pico scope it shows a clear sin waveform. But When I try to acquire the same waveform I can't able to get the waveform.
I have attached the image of the pico7 screen when acquiring the voltage waveform.
In the time settings section in samples it is mentioned as 100ns/div, Sampled 125(1290), sample rate 125MS/s. how to set these options in LabVIEW. Please support on the above

If you look at the Scope button on the top of the display you will see Samples 125 (1290), PicoScope 7 is only collecting 125 samples, but the softare is using sin(x)/x interpolation to bump this up to 1290 which is why you are seeing the ripple. If you are using the same sampling settings as PicoScope 7 in your LabVIEW application you will only have the raw samples, so would need to add interpolation.
