Picolog1216 not working following installation of Picoscope

Hi, I have been using PicoLog1216 with PicoLog Software for some time now. however since installing PicoScope6_r6_14_69.exe the PL1216 is no longer recognised by the Windows 10 PC. i.e it does not appear in device manager when plugged into the USB socket. I have tried uninstalling PicoScope but it makes no difference. Any help would be most welcome. Thanks
