Serial Decoders: Readability of Recorded Data

Decoders: Very Helpful!
Still after capturing data it is difficult to navigate and find certain messages.
Is there an option to annotate the decoded data?
If I could choose: Allow to create an individual lookup table of hex patterns and readable strings.
After recognizing a pattern in the hex data the string would be printed to an additional column of the decoder output.
Any further suggestions / available options how to navigate faster? Please reply! Thanks! :-)
