Feature Request - DC offset improvement

Post by konradgiero »

Hello,

I've included two screenshots: one from Picoscope 7 and another from Tektronix MSO44.

I appreciate Tektronix's approach to utilizing DC offset. It is useful when I check power-up behavior and want to see small voltage changes in input voltage after the device is turned on.
It can be clearly seen from cursors what is the actual voltage.

In pico we have to calculate it.

Combining these two methods would be ideal, allowing for the choice between:
- eliminating undesired DC offset (the current sole option in Picoscope 7),
- indicating the DC offset shift to emphasize small AC signals (similar to the capability of the MSO44).

HI konradgiero,

I'm not sure what you mean here. There is no calculation, the measurement window gives you the delta value between the 2 Channel rulers for the voltage shift.

Do you mean that the Tektronix doesn't require you to move rulers, and instead automatically gives you the delta?
