Post by darina »

Hi,
How to measure UHF sensor (frequency range 0.3-3 GHz) using Picoscope 5444D?
Do you have any suggestion.

Hi Darina,

Unfortunately, you can't. The maximum Bandwidth of the 5000 series PicoScopes is 200MHz.

However, you haven't specified exactly what it is that you want to measure from a UHF sensor. For instance if it is just the carrier wave then we have Sampling PicoScopes that can capture repetitive waveforms for analysis (e.g. for displaying eye diagrams, see here: https://www.picotech.com/oscilloscope/p ... 000-series). If it is just to detect the carrier frequency then you could detect up to 2GHz UHF carrier waveforms using ETS mode in a 5000 series PicoScope.
