Voltage Divider on Terminal Board

Post by GregorArbuckle »

I have been trying to use the voltage divider functionality on the Picolog1000 series with the terminal board. I have soldered the resistors to the board, and cut the lines connecting the solder pads. I have confirmed a good connection with a multimeter as well. However, when I connect it to the picolog software I am not getting any readings. I have checked that the correct voltage is running through the resistors with a multimeter when all connected up but for some reason the logger isn't sending readings to the software. Is there an extra step needed to use the additional resistors that I've missed? Has anyone had a similar problem?

Hi Gregor,

I'm responding to this quite late, so if this is still an issue for you could you post a diagram and image of your modifications, along with a PicoLog data file.
