It is possible to connect multiple scopes to the same PC, however whether it would work for your requirements would depend upon exactly what you are looking to do. The important factors to consider are the sampling interval, the length of time you need to sample for, and how critical the timing is between channels across the devices.
If you needed to use the PicoScope 7 software then each scope would require it's own instance of the software to be running, and this would limit the number of devices you could use depending upon PC resources. We often have two or three when testing but generally not working the software particulalrly hard.
If you are able to write your own application then you can use more devices and get better time synchronisation between channels across devices.

Can ai just ask again if the OP went anywhere with this? I'm toying with the idea of buying a second 4444 to use on an extended desktop but don't want to do it if it won't give reasonable results.
£1000 is to much of an outlay for me just to experiment.
2 of the 4444 scopes at the same time is no problem.
But remember you don't get 8 channels in picoscope !
You get 2 times the picoscope window open with 4 channels on each screen !

Trouble is, the SDK I think is a little above my capabilities.
The OP was after 5 to 15 PicoScopes which is an unusual request. Most cases for adding multiple scopes are unique so we prefer to advise people in relation to their specific needs which is why we will often ask people to email in to support@picotech.com
Can you give more detail on exactly why you are looking at adding in an extra PicoScope, and what you would be expecting in terms of the measurements you will be able to make. You can either post here or email in to the team.

Indeed we managed to record 20 signals (almost) simultaneously by using 5 Picoscopes and a Picoscope 7 software open for each on a good PC but indeed we didn't succeed yet to trigger the them all at once (only manually with the software)
Next, this year, we would like to record 40 signals maybe using a 8 channels version (like the Picoscope 4824A). Now we want to find a way to sync them do you have a new simple to do that?
(For example is SDK easy to learn and can be use for this kind of situation? Is there any technical support on this subject?)
Ok forget the picoscope software.
That would be 400 Msamples total for 4 channels. (picoscope handles up to 250 Msamples)
So in picoscope software with 4 channels you get 625 kSamples / sec at 10 sec / division (100 sec total)
With the SDK no problem no need for triggers, if I would do it in C++ it would probably be less than 1 ms in streaming mode.
With 2 instances op picoscope you you can do it if you sacrifice 1 channel on each scope to trigger on you can get it within 10 - 100 samples (if you have a sharp edge probably within 2 or 3 samples)
But limited to 625 kSamples / sec for 100 sec capture as notid above.
