PAM4 eye diagram analysis using Pico 9300 serials sampling oscilloscope

Hi!

I am considering to buy a Pico 9300 serials sampling oscilloscope for PAM4 eye diagram analysis, but was told by a local Tech. staff that this type of measurement is currently not supported...

I however thought that it should work for PAM4 as for NRZ signals, according to the principle of a sampling oscilloscope.

Anyone here could comfirm me with that?

You will be able to see the PAM4 eye diagram on the display, what you wont be able to do is get automatic measurements like those that are available for an NRZ Eye Diagram
