"No suitable device" - help!

Post by Dave92F1 »

I get "No suitable device found" when I start PicoScope.

I'm on Windows 10 with a 2204A.

I did read the other posts about this problem, so:

* Yes, I'm using the original PicoScope blue USB cable (says "PicoScope" on it)
* Tried with 2 different PCs (Panasonic Toughbook CF-31 and a Dell desktop)

This PicoScope has worked fine in the past on other PCs.

I get the red light on the unit and Windows makes a "happy" USB connect sound when I plug it in.

When I do File>Connect Device... in PicoScope (latest 6.14,61 version, downloaded today) it just lists "Demo". When I plug in the USB cable that window flashes for a moment but then it still just lists "Demo". (When I unplug the USB cable the window doesn't flash - only when I plug it in.)

Same on both PCs.

Help!!

I got it working.

I un-installed version 6.14.61 and installed version 6.14.10 (from 2020). Now it works.

6.14.10 prompted me to upgrade to 6.14.54. That works too.

It seems there's something wrong with 6.14.61.
