Timing jitter measurement with Picoscope 6403D

Post by M0SNR »

Hi,

I have two 1 pulse per second inputs going into my Picoscope and am typically seeing between 1 and 40ns of jitter between the two. I'm triggering on the reference clock and would like to create a spreadsheet of timing jitter over several minutes which I can import into a timing analysis tool. Is this something that I can create with the existing Picoscope software?

Thanks in advance,

Richard

I would suggest looking at the Deep Measure feature described here https://www.picotech.com/library/oscill ... eepmeasure

If you trigger on one channel, deep measure for other channels will provide timings for all pulses related to the trigger point. The deep measure table can then be exported to csv.
