Persistence Mode and Settings

Post by mkauli »

Hi,
it seems, that persistence mode & scope mode has its own settings (Input Range, Trigger Mode, Trigger Channel etc.). In some situations that may be useful, but not in all situations. In my current situation I switch often between scope mode and persistence mode, and changing for example collection time. In this situation when I change the mode I need to adjust each time the current setting to the new mode - that is a little bit annoying.

Is there a way, that changing the mode (for example from scope to persistence mode) not changes the current settings?

best regards
Martin

Hi Martin,

No there isn't, but what you can do is use the Macro Recorder to record how you set each mode up, save the macros as files, and then just load the Macro file each time you want to switch between Modes. To find out more about the Macro Recorder, see page 109 here: https://www.picotech.com/download/manua ... -guide.pdf.
