Capturing data without software

Post by picoguru »

Hello friends,
Recently we developed a drone and we want to capture all the signals from the sub-systems on the air. In this regard, we think of mounting a picoscope5000 on the drone, however, I am not sure whether we can capture the data without the software (Picoscope 6).
In other word, we would like to read signals using the picoscope5000 and save them to a disk while the drone is on the air, and when it lands, we take out the disk, read it and analyze the signals that were captured by picoscope5000 on the air. Do you think it is possible? If yes, I would appreciate if you can help.

Thank you.

You could mount a raspberryPi on the scope the weight of the PI is a lot less than de picoscope.
You will however need a power supply for the PI and the Scope. (5V DC)

The PI can store all recorded data on the internal SD card for evaluation.
