Using a Picoscope as SPI/I2C generator

Post by guifajin »

Would it be feasible to use a Picoscope 2405A to generate SPI or I2C signals, either via its SDK or even the built-in arbitrary waveform generator?
I would use it in such a manner only occasionally, to write a EEPROM chip, for example.

I use this USB - spi - i2C converter to generate i2c and SPI signals.

It a lot less complex than using the AWG as generator.

Thanks, I will look into that instead. I had also considered a Bus Pirate.

Anyway, nice to have this possibility directly with the AWG.
