is it possible to continues awg triggered with oscilloscope

Post by Itchy »

Hello,

I bought a picoscope 2206B besause i wanted to measure a sinus between 20-500Hz and generate a rect function triggered on the positive edge of the sinus. is this possible?

at the moment my state is like the picture below. the blue signal is rect because of testing purpose.
(blue is input(sinus) and red is the signal of awg looped back into the picoscope)

and it should be like this.

i hope you can help me.

Hi Itchy,

You can do what you ask, but you can only have one trigger per capture. So in the Signal Generator, you would have to tick the checkbox for 'Triggers' to make them active, then change the 'Cycles per trigger' to 5, and change the pre-trigger to 0%, so that you can see 5 whole waveforms.
