Pico Scope 2000 signal generator is not applying offset

Post by danielbf109g »

I'm trying to generate a square periodic signal that goes from 0V to 1V. I select Amplitude = 500 mV and Offset = 1V.
In the moment I apply these changes, I can see the square signal correctly (from 0V to 1V) but rapidly it goes down to -0.5 ~ 0.5 Volts again.

What should I do?

Are you feeding the signal from the generator back into a channel ?
If yes is the Channel DC or AC coupled ? AC coupling would cause the signal to initially show correctly then drift back so that there is no offset.

If you still have issues then a psdata file showing your setup would help.
