Saving part of a waveform

Post by Bob Mehew »

Is there a means by which one can save just part of a waveform, say that between the rulers? I can do it heavy handedly by saving the whole as a csv file, taking it into Excel, plotting all the data and then focusing in on the part I am interested in. But it would be nice to have the flexibility to just export the part I want. We can't reduce the capture time span as we are looking at several events within one waveform.

Hi Bob,

No, unfortunately there isn't, as the software works in units of whole buffers of data. But, you do have a point, that would be a useful feature. This is something that will be considered for our recently announced new version of software PicoScope 7.
