No triggering in PicoScope virtual box

Post by emarcw » Tue Apr 03, 2018 11:09 am

Hi, I am having trouble getting PicoScope 6 to work properly under Windows 7 running as a Virtual Box 5.2 guest on a CentOS 7 host. The scope (2206B) is recognized, and it will collect data in PicoScope 6, but only on the auto run, long interval mode (>=200 ms). Any shorter interval, and there is no signal (the trigger is never activated). I’ve tried configuring the VB guest with USB 2 or 3 but it doesn’t seem to make a difference. I also tried a KVM virtual machine, with the same results. Thanks in advance for any suggestions, Mike

Hi Mike,

What are the trigger settings that you are using?

If you select None for the trigger option in the Windows guest operating system, do you see a signal that would meet the trigger condition?
