LCR Meter

Post by Berwyn » Tue Feb 06, 2007 2:36 am

Hi, without knowing much about measurement, it seems like picoscope could be used as an inductance meter using the signal generator (in fact, probably a full LCR meter just as easily).

Would this be true? Have you thought of writing one?

Thanks,
Berwyn

Hi and thank you for your post.

The PicoScope software is quite flexible, as you said it can be used as a meter. Also by adding custom ranges you can create your own unit and input a scaling file, lookup table, or a function to convert your input signal.

Hope this answers your question.

Kind regards
