We are using PicoScope 3205 with WinXP and LabView 8.0.
We tried to open the Example which you posted here in another
thread. We were able to open it, but it did not work correctly.
The vi tries to call PS2000.dlls, so we changed the directory to
PS3000.dll. These changes were not successful. Please could you
send us an example vi which runs with our system.
We downloaded your attachment.
Unfortunately the program still does not work.
When opening the file 'ps3000.vi', the program tries to
load different files. This process stops while looking for
'D:\Labview\instr.lib\niTClk' (see figure in attachment).
When ignoring this warning,
the vi starts but does not work in a proper way.
I opened up the attached ps3000.vi, uploaded on Nov. 16th, but I'm not quite sure I'm using it correctly. After I changed the names from the ps2000.dll library to the ps3000.dll library, it seemed to open fine. When I click start, although the graph is updating itself, it doesn't seem to be moving along. In other words, if I touch the scope probe to a signal, the first point moves up and down, but the rest of the line stays flat. I messed around with the no. of samples and the voltage range and things, but nothing seemed to help. Is this just a simple issue I'm missing or is something larger going on?
Thanks for the examples you sent. It turns out I'm still running on 8.0, and the examples are in 8.2. I plan to upgrade to the newest version soon. Do you know if the examples need professional to run? I think the only pertinent limitation of the full version is that it lacks the ability to create polymorphic functions, but that shouldn't be an issue here. Just thought I'd check before I made the order. Thanks for your time.
As far as I am aware, you will be able to open and run our VI's without the full professional version. We use the base development version as we do not require the run time licences.
I am sure a quick call to NI will answer the quesiton for certain.
Best regards,
Michael
