PicoScope 6: no math channels

Postby BorgesOl » Tue Sep 03, 2013 12:55 pm

Hello,

My equipment:
PC with Win7
USB Osc. PicoScope 3204B
Software: PicoScope6

My Problem:
I did not get any math channels running. When I follow the three-step guide (shown in the help file) no math channel will be
displayed.
For example: I check the checkbox of "A-B" and then the OK button --> nothing happens.

Thanks in advance.

Make sure that both A and B are set to Auto, or a voltage range, then "Right Click" on the display and select "Auto-arrange Axes" - Do you now see two scales on the left and one on the right ?

Thanks for the hint, but the solution was very easy:

I downloaded the latest update of picoscope6:

PicoScope® 6 - PC Oscilloscope software version: 6.7.28.7

and now everything works perfect.

Conclusion: The software delivered on the original CD is not free of bugs!

Thanks for the support, now we are happy with the USB-Osc.

Hi,

I use a 3206 oscilloscope with the software Picoscope 6.11.13 on Linux (ubuntu).

--------
thierry@mac:~$ sudo apt-get install picoscope
(...)
picoscope is already the newest version (6.11.13-4r3).
--------

There is no "Math Channels" in the 'Tools' part.
Where can I find it?

Thanks
thierry

Hi thierry,

Unfortunately, the Math Channel feature is not included as part of the Linux/Mac versions of PicoScope.

We are working towards feature parity.
