Re: Win10 PS6 and PS4444 Zombie Lockups

FWIW, I'm not experiencing lockups when using PS6, but I always experience an inability to reconnect automatically to 4444 when laptop awakens from sleep. Usually unplugging USB cable is necessary. I wrote it about here:

"The web service was unavailable..."

comes up at least half the times that Picoscope 6 ( always latest available version) creates an error report which for me is usually when I awaken my notebook after sleep with Picoscope still connected. Is this a web service for error reporting and is it supposed to work ?

Alarm "Run Application" command examples ?

Hi Forum. I'm looking for examples of simple ways to be notified remotely that an alarm ( some trigger condition satisfied ) has occured on PicoLog. I suppose a canned email batch or email to SMS gateway message via command line would work. Anybody configured such a thing on Windows and have example...

Re: Picolog for Picoscope 4444

Glad to have this for 4444, thank you. This software is a great compliment to Picoscope 6 and I find it's usability as a logger excellent. Nice work Pico.

Re: multiple time rulers

More workarounds... you can load a second instance of Picoscope ( but only as Administrator ? so right click when launching otherwise you just bring focus to first instance ) and then you use Windows 10 split screen settings to show multiple Picoscope instances on same display. Doing so allow for vi...

Re: multiple time rulers

Multiple viewport suggestion does work, thanks for making me aware of this. DeepMeasure is also good suggestion although in this case I'm looking at just two adjacent PWM pulses. Thanks for the replies

Re: multiple time rulers

I agree, multiple rulers would be helpful to me. I'm measuring different pulses within the same buffer and having to remove first delta to create second and then comparing the values of deltas seems like a perfect use of computer software.

Re: Returning from suspend without having to restart Picoscope ?

FWIW, for the first time an error report was generated when returning from sleeping notebook. Is such a report useful ? If so, where do I send ?

Re: PicoLog 6.1.6 Beta adds PicoScope oscilloscope support

4824 and 4444 both utilize the same SDK ( 4000 series (A API)) so I can't imagine much work to get working for 4444 if already on 4824. Emails are private and don't communicate interest to others so I'd rather use the forum and see what interest exists from others.

Re: Why a limit of 256KiB on uploads to this forum ?

Thanks for reply Martyn. Just now I tried to upload a 496KiB image ( .png supported ? ) and the upload progress meter moved as it should, but no upload and no message. I'm using latest Chrome. If certain formats supported is there a document that says which ?

Returning from suspend without having to restart Picoscope ?

Hi Forum. I often will suspend Windows ( power button or closing clamshell of notebook ) with Picoscope still connected although not running. When I return from suspend I'm greeted with "Not Responding" caption in Picoscope and forced to restart the app. When I do restart there is sometimes an addit...

Why a limit of 256KiB on uploads to this forum ?

This is a difficult size restriction that on more than one occasion has prevented me and subsequently discouraged me from posting. I've posted about at at least once and I see at least one other, but never an acknowledgement from Pico ?

Hi. I have a 4444 and find this software interesting and quite usable. Is there planned support for any other Picoscopes ?

Re: How do I Label Signals?

I also think this is useful and would like to see it implemented. When dealing with 3 or more signals or referencing a saved waveform it really seems to help me to easily discern. Just watched a video from which I uploaded this screenshot after much cropping due to artificially low attachment size l...

Trying the make the 4444 more portable...

Hi Forum. I think the 4444 is quite portable and the case is awesome. I have a bunch of Pico and non Pico accessories within and there is room for all while keeping snug given the existing cut-outs. But the limitation I'm experiencing comes when you get to the job. There is no way that I see to atta...
