Dual Channel Data Logging

I have just moved onto using both channels on my Pico ADC-200/100 and am rather confused. I set the time step at 10 micro seconds (or more precisely 10.24) and sought a fast block single set record of 32k samples. I anticipated that the resultant record would show a time step of 10 micro seconds and...

Hi Ziko The BIOS names for the modes of operation of my lap top's parallel port are: "bidirectional", "ECP", "EPP" and "output only". I therefore presume that as the lap top was set to bidirectional, that is equivalent to standard and hence the port is not compatible with the Pico device. Thanks for...

Hi Ziko I am unsure what you are suggesting I should do when I get into BIOS. My BIOS reports that the parallel port is enabled in a bidirectional mode (available alternatives are ECP, EPP and output only), the base I/O address is 3BC (available alternatives are 278 & 378) and that the interrupt is ...

Hi Ziko I have tried switching port label using Device Manager to LTP 3 and then switching printer using port to LTP 3 which did allow me to print a test page. So it would appear that facility in Device Manager is purely a re-labeling capability. You say "See if you can change the printer port to me...

Physically it is a single port on I presume the motherboard (have not opened up the case to check physical links!). The names LTP 1, 2 & 3 are only available in Device Manager and appear to be a simple name designation capability, or do I misunderstand that facility?

ADC 200 not recognised

Tried installing software V5.20.3 on my IBM Think Pad R50e running XP SP3. I coupled up ADC 200/100 and got error message on starting up PicoScope "ADC-200 not connected". Noted Device Manager says LTP 1 uses resources 03BC - 03BE which some where I read was identified by Pico set up as LTP 3. So tr...
