Re: Data TransferHi

I don't think 400mA will bring you succes. I know the 3000 and 4000 series will not start and function properly with 400mA.
Don't know about the 2000 series scopes.

Re: Getting back an event when trigger happens?

The scope you are using, and the mode you are using it in is capturing in the memory of the scope. If the trigger fires then the scope captures the number of samples remaining after the capture (if your capture is at the start then the full 22M samples) and only then the scope signals over USB to th...

Re: Getting back an event when trigger happens?

Something is not adding up in your story. if you set timebase 0 (500 MS/sec) your scope memory is 32 MSamples. In this case all the data should be read by the scope in less than 0.1 sec. So the 6.5 sec wait time is not correct or you are not sampling at 500MSamples/sec. If it really takes 6.5 sec yo...

Re: Saved Waveforms are Truncated

It looks like there is a bug in the CSV export. However there is a workaround for your problem for now. Save only the complete waveforms as .psdata file so save (1-2). Open this .psdata file and save to CSV (all waveforms) Then you have the CSV data, see attached compressed CSV file I made this way....

Can you post a .psdata file of the truncated waveforms ?

Bug rising edge count and High / low pulse widht

When you have more than about 20000 rising edges in a single waveform buffer then the rising edge count and high / low pulse width functions stop working. While testing a encoder divider / multiplier I noticed these measurements stop working. I was investigate if it was smart division or only counti...

Re: How to read from Pico Scope 2204A at a rate of 1ms continuously?

I still think streaming is the best solution for you, set it at 100kSamples/sec so you get exactly 100 samples every 1ms. If you average every 100 samples you get then you get 1000 averages / sec. This will be withing 0.01% of a ms for every 100 samples. Only the OS, USB, and python will make the ti...

If you want constant timing streaming mode is your only option.
Otherwise you always have random os delay's in the nature of the os.

Re: PS4444 custom probes

Ok when you double click the pssettings file it works as expected. If you open the scope in factory settings and then load the pssettings you get the popup. You also get the popup if you have the "start-up setting" set to "last session" and the config as in the pssettings previous post. the "Only sh...

PS4444 custom probes

When using custom probes on a 4444 scope every time you start the scope (last settings, or pssettins file) the scope detects a probe mismatch and can not tell it to use the configured probes. Every time I open picoscope I have to configure the custom probes to the channels. 2023-09-19_16-49-49.png T...
