Re: Integrator issue

Hi Mich, To answer your question, you are getting a result - but not one that you can see. Because the finite integral of the waveform w.r.t. the total collection time is a product of the total collection time (you should notice that the vertical axis of the integral waveform has units of Volt Secon...

Re: Thermocouple Data Logger TC-08 - Input Channel Isolation

Hi Lightsphere,

The TC-08 channels are not isolated from each other they have weak pull down resistors, and capacitors that are tied to ground.

Best regards,

Re: Effective number of bits of 5244B

Hi Herve, Sorry for the delayed response. To answer your original question, your calculation sets an upper limit for ENOB but doesn’t give the full picture of dynamic performance. When ADC’s are interleaved in time to create a faster sample rate, there is an inevitable bit of distortion of phase, ga...

Re: Phase locking with PicoScope 5000 series

You are correct in that the signal Generator (of which the AWG is a part) and the ADC and acquisition circuitry are driven by the same clock. Also, the waveform of the signal generator will always be in sync, and therefore the same number of cycles will be captured, for any fixed time period. If thi...

Re: Using Differential Probe TA043 with Rigol 1204B Scope

Hi Zhiyong, The current sensing transformer although it may have quite a high frequency response is unlikely to be able to react to almost instantaneous changing current (it can't accurately reproduce a pulse as the core limits the frequency response to less than 8 harmonics). What you're measuring ...

Re: PicoScope oscilloscope software on BeagleBoard / BeagleB

Hi Mike,

Apologies for the delay. We have a number of options that we need to consider, and are currently establishing the support process and access to the drivers for this exciting development. We will give you an update in due course.

Best regards,

Gerry

PicoScope oscilloscope software on BeagleBoard / BeagleBone

Great news, PicoScope, now runs on the BeagleBone Black (low cost, high precision, and fully flexible test & measurement on a credit-card size computer!!!). Here are some captures of PicoScope 6 running on the Cortex-based development platform: 2014-08-13-140356_1280x720_scrot.png 2014-08-13-140405_...
