Re: Comma as decimal point

Windows Regional settings are now supported in PicoScope 6.11.10. :)

So for most European languages ie French, German etc
You can now use a comma symbol ',' for the decimal place and a semicolon symbol ';' for the list separator, in maths channels.

Re: Coupling issue when using AWG from 5244B

Hi, I think the issue is the output of the AWG/signal generator not return to 0 volts when the scope is AC coupled. See the image below, the built in wave shapes for triangle and square do not return 0 volts, when the AWG is stopped. If you use the sinewave it does return to 0 volts, and you do not ...

Re: USB-Driver crashes on a restricted windows-system

Hello, We would strongly advise to upgrade to PicoScope 6 software, as we no longer support or update PicoScope 5. PicoScope 6 has a lot of great new features over PicoScope 5. Also the driver for your scope will have many updates and bug fixes since PicoScope 5. If you did want to keep using picosc...

Re: Coupling issue when using AWG from 5244B

Hi,

Could you record the first 15 cycles of the AWG output and post them. (AC coupled)

Does this only happen on the first cycle from the AWG?

What if you try setting the the AWG output a dummy number of cycles, then set the AWG to O/P 0v. Before you output your desired signal.

Re: impedance calculation - Power Factor

Hello, Most of the calculations cannot be done in PicoScope. But the measurements needed can be exported out. And could be easily be done in excel. See this post on exporting measurement values- https://www.picotech.com/support/topic15481.html?hilit=batch First you need to setup your channels and th...

Re: impedance calculation

Hi,
I agree, so you want the AC rms value of the impedance? Do also want the reactance and true resistance of circuit as well as phase angle?

Re: PS5242A - Stall at "isReady" Function in Examples

Hello, Is the scope waiting for a trigger? The PicoScope5000aExampleRapidBlock.vi example defaults to have the trigger enabled. Are you using 32 or 64-bit LabVIEW? If your using 64-bit you need to change the some data types- -Unsigned 32-bit Integer for PICO STATUS values. -Signed 64-bit Integers fo...

Re: Multiple realtime views while recording

Could you try the file attached-
rolling trace with zoom iamge
rolling trace with zoom iamge
The zoomed section will be drawn as a thick line until the scope is stopped (as above).
This is a known issue. (The software is drawing less points with the aggregated/down sampled data points)

Hello Jim, I can confirm our devices use 'Isochronous' and 'bulk' transfer mode. We have successfully tested the IOGEAR GUWIP204 Wireless 4-Port USB Sharing Station. The device has Wifi and LAN connections both work with the PicoScope devices. See attached instructions. Set_up_the_IOGEAR_GUWIP204.pdf

Re: Problems with function calls of the ps4000Wrap.dll

Hello Alex, The directory to the dll in the 'Call library function' window, this shouldn't need to be specified, as the windows 'SDK installer' inserts there location into the windows PATH variable. Just the dll file name is all that is needed- ps4000.dll The issue you are having with PS4000Wrap.dll...
