I think I find the reason. The Channel on the PicoScope 6000 Series has an input impedance of 50 Ω, and my synthesized function generator also has an output impedance of 50 Ω, so the voltage is half. Right?

The voltages displayed by PicoScope6407 is only half?

Hi,
I find that the voltage displayed by my PicoScope6407 in PicoScope 6 is only half. I use a SMA/BNC adapter to connect the channel A and a synthesized function generator, is this the cause?

What's the relationship between timebase and Sample Rate in PicoScope3000aExampleBlock.vi

I'm learning the official sample program "PicoScope3000aExampleBlock.vi"。I find that if timebase<=4, Sample Rate(ns) = 2**timebase , but if timebase>4, Sample Rate = 16+8*(timebase-4) . So I want to know why the relationship is like this?Image
