I want to chime in and also ask for an appimage. I need to be able to install without any network connection.

All of the above, really. I want to add this to the suggestions:

- add the possibility to change the timebase in the main window by using the scrollwheel in the linux version of PS7. It is possible in the windows version, I have no idea why it missing under linux.

thank you very much for your fast reply. I already tested ps 7 on Linux, and it works just fine, but apart from the fact that it isn't stable yet, there is one huge problem: the timebase adjustment doesn't work with the mouse's scrollweel. Is there a solution to this issue?
