ps4000.xls is not finding the ps4000wrap.dll

I am attempting to use the ps4000.xls spreadsheet to retrieve data from a 4224. I have placed the macros in one of the environment variable paths listed in the environment variables setting. I have Windows 7 64 bit and was wondering if this was the reason that the spreadsheet could not find the dll....
