2 of the 4444 scopes at the same time is no problem. But remember you don't get 8 channels in picoscope ! You get 2 times the picoscope window open with 4 channels on each screen ! On the Pico 7 download/info page it says;
“ PicoScope 7 T&M around mid-2022. And, of course, we have plans to add many new capabilities in the future.”

Not hugely important but a usability thing when using the Mac software versions.

One thing I have noticed also is that there is no 'Hide' option, as you would get by pressing ⌘H on your keyboard.
Strangely enough this option is present in PicoScope 6 but it doesn't actually work.
