Re: Max number of Picoscope 4444 usable on a computer

2 of the 4444 scopes at the same time is no problem. But remember you don't get 8 channels in picoscope ! You get 2 times the picoscope window open with 4 channels on each screen ! The total number of channels will be 8 but not in program. Unless you write your own software in the SDK. Benno Troubl...

Hi Pete, how did you get on with this project?
Hi again Pete, don't suppose you actually bought the scope?

Re: Max number of Picoscope 4444 usable on a computer

Hi Martyn, did the OP get in touch with you at all regarding this subject? Hi again Martyn, hope we'll. Can ai just ask again if the OP went anywhere with this? I'm toying with the idea of buying a second 4444 to use on an extended desktop but don't want to do it if it won't give reasonable results...

What exactly do you mean by 'delta' time and volts?

I've been asking for this but it has not yet materialised. Replying here hopefully to get others interested in the feature.

Re: Using external drive with Picoscope

Thanks Bennog, when I get back I'll have a mess about and see what I can do.

I haven't done any of that kind of programming so might need to see if I can get some help with SDKs.

Merci.

Re: Using external drive with Picoscope

Hi Benno. So just to be clear are you saying that I start a capture save it and then immediately restart and it’ll default save there? I don’t run with the trigger as I want to capture everything. I’ll input some settings and do a test to see what the general data rate is. That way if I know for exa...

Re: Using external drive with Picoscope

Do you actually need continuous gap free data for the whole duration or are you happy to have snapshots of data collected automatically over the week, in which case you can use the Alarms function to save a capture and then restart the scope. Hi both, hope well. Martyn, I've not used the alarms fea...

Using external drive with Picoscope

Hi, I use picoscope as a kind of power analyser sometimes and it's great for a recording a few hundred cycles of data when I trigger an event. Ive been asked to use it over a period of a week to record so am exploring possibilites. Is it possible to have Picoscope, (6 or 7), stream data directly to ...

Re: PicoScope 7 T&M Early Access program - Introduction

Hello again.
On the Pico 7 download/info page it says;
“ PicoScope 7 T&M around mid-2022. And, of course, we have plans to add many new capabilities in the future.”
Any chance we can have some idea as to what these might be?

Re: Missed the Boat

I'm really sorry to say this as I have been a Pico scope user for many years, but Pico scope 7 pales in comparison to Pico scope 6 in my opinion. Had you simply made Pico 6 touch screen usable, added the 30 degree increments in to the stroke rulers and a stroke overlay, you would have made substant...

Re: PicoScope 7 T&M Early Access program - Introduction

Not hugely important but a usability thing when using the Mac software versions.

One thing I have noticed also is that there is no 'Hide' option, as you would get by pressing ⌘H on your keyboard.
Strangely enough this option is present in PicoScope 6 but it doesn't actually work.
