Re: QWG run time vs frequency

I have found the same issue in PicoScope 6.14.44.5870 controlling model 5444B. I have a 4096-point AW and want this block to have exactly 1.0 s duration. Using "1 Hz" frequency on the AWG control panel, the burst length for a single shot is approx 0.895 s, and setting fractional Hz value to try to c...

Trace averaging

I am using 5444B to extract some very small signals from noisy raw data, and have some comments about the process under Picoscope 6.13.15.4081. First, it would be REALLY useful if each channel selector could provide averaging on/off in just the same way that, for example, low-pass filtering is offer...

Re: specifying x-axis zoom start & end points

Thanks Gerry, Yes, agree that playing with fractional & integer zoom values can help. But (related to this issue) I wish the "left" and "right" buttons on the scroll bar in zoom mode shifted by a consistent amount. The "nudge" starts at 5% of displayed X span for zoom of 2, but then shifts to 8% for...

specifying x-axis zoom start & end points

Is there any way to set specific start and end times for the zoom display? When using zoom window and/or slider bar, the times at start and end of the viewport are almost impossible to control, and usually give very awkward labelling of the tick-marks. I'd like to be able to set specific limits for ...

Re: Waveform averaging - the PicoScope way

Having recently switched from using ADC212-100 (running under XP) to a 5444B and PicoScope 6, I found this thread very helpful - for a moment, I thought averaging was not possible! Just want to check a couple of points. Having created, say, "average(A)" as a Math Channel, and displaying only this ch...
