Work-around
You can create custom probes:
a) for 10x probe you put:
y=10.0x + 0.025 volts
b) for 1x probe you put:
y=1.0x + 0.0025 volts
It then works - only the rulers and ranges show some strange values... but whatever you measure is correct.

Persistence mode scale wrong with 10x probe
I set Scope mode, probe 10x +-2V, and I display a sine wave... I turn to Persistence mode, and it sets 1x probe, 200mV and I get the same display. It makes sense. Now when I try to switch to 10x and 2V inside persistence mode the sine gets so large that it clips. I have to switch to more than 20V sc...
