(When) will you implement logarithmic x-scale in the spectrum analyzer?

Thank you for your request I have forwarded it to the software department. Whilst no promises can be made they will consider it.
Kind regards

The log-scale function is really useful for audio measurement. Pls~!

I strongly recommend adding a log-scale for x-axis.
It was quite a disappointment for audio engineers when realized that pico 6 don't have this function.

I am considering buying another brand of scope.
Logarithmic x-scale is a must when analysing filters and frequency responses.
I agree to the above statement by sinanas – disappointing!

Have you done anything yet about adding a log-scale ?
This is really important for audio measurements.

It has not been included yet although I have just prompted for this again particularly as we have recently introduced the PS4262 scope.

Not Yet...
... spectrum analyzer is so good that it rivals many dedicated audio analyzers and dynamic signal analyzers costing several times the price.
Please we do a lot of filter measurement in the 20K - 200K range

Hello,
is there any progress concerning this issue? I have an 4262 and for frequency analysis this is a must.
Thank you in advance!

I was asked yesterday, by the head of development, which new feature request would I consider important. I replied logscale, so maybe just maybe.

Hello Martyn,
thanks for your answer!
The 4262 is really a great scope for audio analysis with it's 16 Bit, bandwidth and builtin function generator. But please ask your head of dev if they have ever seen a linear scale of a published frequency response analysis of any amplifier?
To be honest I expected this feature exist in spectrum view. But let's looking forward
Please keep us informed if there are any news or a time scale.
Best regards!

Hello,
what I forgot. The equivalent feature needed is a log sweep mode for the builtin func gen. Many users also requested this. I think these two features are the missing link for audio analysis.
