Hi there
I have recently moved over to a PC running Windows 7 (from XP). I have a pico scope ADC 200 which uses the Pico Technology USB - Parallel port unit into my PC's USB port.
When starting the Picoscope software (release 5.16.2 - 32 bit), the software reports 'adc20032.dll failed to load correctly'. When I went to find the software version of the Picoscope software it stated 'driver not found'.
You will get this error when the installer does not install the drivers for the ADC-200. When you installed the software did you select the ADC-200 in the drop down menu? If you did try reinstalling the software and this time select PS-3000 Series and click the "Install for other devices" and that should get you going.
Yeah in that case, after you have done what Richard said, plug the PicoParallel port on its own to the USB port and then see if it appears in device manager under Universal Serial Bus Controllers.
If so then plug the ADC200 into the adapter and run Picoscope and then select File->Setup -> Converter choose the ADC200 and then select USB PP1.
