CAN decoder lower data rate limit

Hello,

I am struggling with decoding data from a CAN bus operating at only 10 kbaud. The lowest value the decoder allows for is 12,5 kbaud.

Is there any workaround?

This is correct. But if I try to insert a value less than 12,5 (kbaud) it is being overwritten with 12,5.

Is this different in your setup?

you are correct 12,5 kb seems to be the lowest value you can enter.
this is already a very low baud rate CAN usually is 500kb or 1Mb

Hello,

it got silent since I uploaded the psdata. I was now able to decode the CAN communication using a logic analyzer. Nevertheless it would have been nice to have thos capability in PicoScope 6.

May I ask whether the 12,5 kbaud lower limit of the CAN decoder does have a reasoning or whether it has been chosen arbitrarily?

I could not find any such lower bound in the standard.
