I've got the Picoscope 6 running in linux on a chromebook. My question is whether a 2 channel Pico will be recognized over USB. I have a Owon 2 channel and sure the java gui software works fine, but when I connect the scope to USB, chromebook doesn't see it. If I plug certain microcontroller boards to USB, chromebook sees them and prompts to connect the device to linux. I checked the kernel support with dmesg and the USB chips on those microcontroller boards that succesfully connect over USB are explicitly supported. I have no idea which USB chip is on the Pico, but for it to work on chromebook it must be supported.
The question remains, does a 2 channel Pico have a chromebook supported USB chipset?
